Psychological support

If you are having difficulty adjusting to life in Poland and that causes you any distress, you can ask for support in our Support and Accessibility Center. There you can have:

  • consultation with a psychologist or educator aimed at a better understanding of your problems and finding solutions;
  • psychological and pedagogical counselling - meeting with a psychologist, pedagogue or family counsellor aimed at getting to know oneself better and making informed decisions;
  • personal counselling - meeting with a specialist aimed at forming your own personal development path, determining strengths and competencies essential in dealing with various challenges in personal and social life.

All provided consultations are free of charge.

In order to contact the Support and Accessibility Center, please write an email to:

In your email please:

  • write your name and surname,
  • write the field of study and year of study,
  • describe your problem in 2-3 points,
  • define your expectations,
  • provide the correspondence address to which you would like to receive an answer.

If you have questions related to the course of education, work in your research unit, or if you experience any problems, including difficulties in communication with your research colleagues or your supervisor, you can always contact employees of the Doctoral School Office, Head of DS or members of DS Board.

In front of room 145 (Main Building), there is a mailbox that you can use to share your concerns anonymously. For our part, we will try to do everything in our power to help you feel comfortable in the UPWr academic environment. 

In special cases involving a threat to life or health, we encourage you to contact the Representative for the Safety of Students and Doctoral Students in Emergency Cases.
