Financial resources for the purpose of maintaining the scientific, research and development potential of the UPWr Doctoral School

Financial resources for the purpose of maintaining the scientific, research and development potential of the UPWr Doctoral School are used among others to expand the knowledge and scientific skills of doctoral students of the UPWr Doctoral School. They are designed to support individual scientific development, exchange of experiences and establishing scientific contacts. The funds also contribute to increasing the involvement of doctoral students in the development of the represented discipline and promote the positive image of the university.

Financial resources may be allocated to:

  1. co-financing of participation:
    a) in specialized training, workshop or summer/winter school,
    b) in international scientific conferences abroad;
  2. a one-time increase in the amount of the doctoral scholarship.

The maximum amount of the grant is:

  • PLN 6,000 - for participation in a specialist training or workshop,
  • PLN 10,000 - for participation in a specialized summer / winter school,
  • PLN 8,000 - for participation in an international foreign scientific conference.

A doctoral student may apply for co-financing of one chosen activity (participation in a training, workshop, conference or in the summer/winter school) once during the first 2 years of education and once during the last 2 years of education.
