COMPETITION DETAILS:
- Submission Method: Upload your video to the provided Google Forms link
- Evaluation Criteria: Consideration will be given to the creativity of the video execution, your ability to articulate your ideas, and the effectiveness of presenting data to the Commission.
- The Commission will not be connected with your discipline, so please do not go into details of your work; the way of presentation matters!
IMPORTANT DATES
The first stage: Online video submission, The deadline is April 15th 2024.
The second stage: a special event during the Nature Day “Dni Przyrodników” and UPWr Festival in celebration of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Science 2024. In frames of the second stage selected candidates will present their presentations live in front of the audience and the Commission.
PRIZES
- All participants, whose recordings will meet the conditions of the Competition will receive 1 ECTS point in the category of scientific self-improvement in the area of scientific meeting in the institutions referred to in Art. 7 section 1 of the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science, excluding scientific societies at UPWr, based on certificates of participation issued by the Commission.
- The winners will receive financial support: for 1st place - PLN 3,000, 2nd place - PLN 2,000, 3rd place - PLN 1,500 to be spent under § 10, section 1, point 3 of the Rules for granting funds for the purpose of maintaining the scientific, research and development potential of the Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
- Certificates of participation will be awarded to all PhD students who submit their movie in accordance with these regulations by the end of May 2024.
