We are pleased to invite you to take part in the 4th Young Science Congress

The Young Science Congress is a regular international and multidisciplinary scientific conference that takes place at the University of Gdansk on July 11-13, 2024.

 The 4th Congress of Young Science is a unique opportunity for young scientists to present research results, share their theses and establish valuable scientific contacts. The event has an international and multidisciplinary character, combining various scientific fields. Although the process of submitting scientific panels is just beginning, we assure you that the program will be diverse and inspiring, just like in previous editions. Sessions and discussions are planned that cover a wide range of topics, from science to humanities, which will be an excellent opportunity to exchange thoughts and experiences. The topics of the panels are not limited.

Registration takes place at the link. Registration for panel organizers ends on March 19 or when the limit of places is reached. We also invite you to act as moderators of individual panels. As moderators, you will have the opportunity not only to lead the discussion, but also to influence the shaping of the scientific space during the Congress.

Some of the most important information about the panels:

  • A panel scientific supervisor is needed to verify the substantive level of the panel. The scientific supervisor should have at least a doctoral degree. His task will be to allow submitted papers to appear on the panel based on the abstracts sent by the speakers;
  • Completing the application form – it only takes a moment! You need the name of the panel, a short description, some information about the panel and a scan of the consent of the scientific supervisor.
  • In order for the panel to start, at least 3 papers must be submitted and approved by the scientific supervisor; The moderator/organizer leads the panel during the Congress, hands out certificates to participants and completes short documentation.

After the end of the Congress, participants will have the opportunity to publish post-conference articles in the journal "Progress - Journal of Young Researchers", which has been published at the University of Gdańsk since 2016. It is published by representatives of a number of scientific disciplines and is addressed mainly to students, PhD students and young scientists.

The cost of participation in the Congress is PLN 490, while the fee for panel organizers is PLN 390. As part of the fee, we provide participants with full board and participation in all planned program points. Accommodation is possible at a preferential price (PLN 32.40 per person per day net) in the student dormitories of the University of Gdańsk in Oliwa. We encourage you to read the details about the Congress and register on our website. If you have any questions, please contact us at the following e-mail address: kontaktmlodejnauki@ug.edu.pl.
